ANIMAL CAREGIVERS NEEDED AT FARM SANCTUARY

Farm Sanctuary's New York and California shelters are looking for committed animal rights activists with animal care experience to join our growing shelter staff. Each year we rescue, rehabilitate and provide lifelong care for hundreds of animals rescued from factory farms, stockyards and slaughterhouses -- and in turn, these farm animal friends teach thousands of shelter visitors that farm animals deserve protection too!

Full-time animal caregiver positions include animal care, feeding, health care treatments and rehabilitation; cleaning and maintaining shelter barns and facilities; assisting with shelter emergencies, rescues, and cruelty cases; supervising and working with volunteers, and other shelter efforts.

Starting salary $16,000-17,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits. Previous animal care experience at a shelter or other animal care facilty is necessary, and large animal experience is extremely helpful.
